Today I have done very little. I caught the bus into St Ives and had a wander round before my trip to the Tate.

The weather wasn’t conducive to a lot of wandering so after an enjoyable hour at the Tate I caught the bus home. I spent the afternoon catching up on essentials such as cleaning the mud off my waterproof trousers, and shopping for my dinner -fresh pasta with homemade tomato sauce- all the while listening to the rain.

The weather forecast is better for tomorrow, a good thing as I’ll be camping.

Think they are echium? They were prolific in the San Francisco arboretum!!

Hi Rose, glad to hear you are doing ok. I looked up the plant you posted on the ‘Seek’ app and it came up with Giant Viper’s Bugloss or Echium Pininana! I’ve never seen that one before.
I hope the shoulder is bearing up ok.

Thanks, Olga. They are huge, and quite spectacular. Shoulder is better now, which is great.
