Today was my fourth rest day, and today I did more than I usually do on a rest day. Sue and I visited the Bishop’s Palace and gardens (14 acres) which were beautiful, peaceful and watery, Wells being called Wells due to the wells. After a sandwich lunch I rested my feet while Sue had a wander round the city (England’s smallest city). We met at the cathedral at three and watched the rather impressive clock strike the quarter hour.

It has again been a hot day, so we have booked dinner outside, and despite very little activity (although I will manage my 10000 steps) I am looking forward to it.
Glad you had a restful rest day but I miss your musings – today’s blog too short for me!

Longer musings on a rest day are likely to be mainly about blister counting and clothes washing-neither of which are very exciting.
